Brass Velvet Trading Co. is a story-driven lifestyle boutique in Billings, Montana offering an immersive fusion of fashion, fragrance, and design. We specialize in artisan-made perfumes and colognes, clothing, jewelry, accessories and home decor for those who crave rare finds with soul.

Do you carry products for both men and women?

Yes. We curate a wide range of apparel, personal care, and fragrance options for both men and women including signature unisex scents.

What is The Velvet Scent Lounge?

The Velvet Scent Lounge is our in-house scent bar. You can create your own customized personal and/or home fragrance. You do not need to have fragrance knowledge to participate. You can choose from an oil roller fragrance or an alcohol-based spray fragrance. For the home, we offer DIY reed diffusers, room sprays and you can create your own candle. The fragrances used at the Velvet Scent Lounge are professionally blended, are IFRA complaint, and selected for quality, safety, and compatibility with perfume and candle applications.

We will also be offering our own in-house fragrance collection which is a line of small-batch, hand-blended perfumes and oils created to stir memory, mood and magic.

The Velvet Scent Lounge hosts fragrance blending parties where guests create their own perfumes, colognes, candles and home fragrances. These events are popular for bridal showers, birthdays, girls’ nights, family get-togethers and networking groups.

A mobile scent bar is available for weddings, baby showers, bridal showers or any kind of event where guests can create their own fragrance.

Do you offer shipping and where do you ship to?

Yes! We ship nationwide across the U.S. All orders are processed within 1-3 business days.

We also offer local pickup for customers in the Billings, MT area.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Once your order is processed, most shipments arrive within 3-5 business days depending on your location and selected shipping method.

What is your return and exchange policy?

We offer returns on most unworn, unused items within 14 days of purchase. Custom fragrances, candles, incense, fragrances, body products and food products are final sale items.

Can I return in-store items online or vice versa?

At this time, instore purchases must be returned in-store. Online purchases can be returned by mail or in person.

Do you offer custom gifting options?

We offer custom giftbox options. You select the items you would like to include in the giftbox, we will quote you a price (products are offered with a discount), if accepted, we will create the giftbox for you.

Can I book a private shopping appointment or Party?

Yes! Whether you are planning a girls’ night out, birthday, or just want the boutique to yourself, we offer personalized experiences. Contact us to schedule your private appointment.
